Spanish and Mandarin Teachers
We are looking for native or near native speakers of Mandarin and/or Spanish to teach our enrichment classes to toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids throughout the Bay Area.
Teachers must have experience working with kids and be energetic, enthusiastic, creative and fun. Classes run for 45-minutes to 1 hour and take place usually before school or after.
This job is a great opportunity for college students, education professionals, and individuals with bilingual or trilingual language skills interested in the education, child development, recreation & leisure, and counseling fields to get hands-on experience!

- Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and implementing curriculum
- Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and fun age appropriate environment
- Inspiring children to learn and grow
- Conducting classes using the i-Immersion teaching methods
- Attend continuing education workshops and early childhood education classes periodically with the staff members
Business or Marketing Intern
The B&M (Business and Marketing) Intern plays an integral role in supporting various activities that are designed to strengthen and grow i-Immersion’s presence in existing and new communities. The responsibilities of the marketing intern include:
- Social networking on behalf of our company.
- Researching and identifying marketing opportunities.
- Assisting with project management, concept development and production of marketing collateral, etc.
- Participating in events planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently studying in or graduated from Business Administration, Marketing, and Communications, but other majors will be considered.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Detail-oriented and flexible, able to juggle multiple tasks
- Familiarity with and/or interest in multicultural issues
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications, ideally also some knowledge of page layout and design software such as Photoshop, etc.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus
Time Commitment:
We are looking for interns on an ongoing basis. Start and end dates to be determined on individual time commitment. Hours are flexible, but you must be able to commit to 6-10 hours per week. Duration of project is between 1-3 months.
