MISSION STATEMENT

At i-Immersion, our company mission is clear- to develop and bring the most fun and practical Spanish and Mandarin language immersion classes to students and families of all language levels.

The i-Immersion community strives to involve every individual in the immersion learning process – the child, sibling, mom, dad, grandparents, teacher, nanny…when you enroll one child in our program, the whole family benefits!

HISTORY

i-Immersion™ was founded in 2007 by the Kuo siblings- Alice, Stephen, and Michael.  Before i-Immersion™ found a permanent location, the Kuo’s provided Mandarin, Writing, Math, and Science lessons at libraries, community centers, and student’s homes.  Alice, i-Immersion’s Director with over 7 years of teaching experience, decided that the Kuo’s lively and interactive teaching styles should be introduced to more kids and families, and so the i-Immersion™ idea came together in the spring of 2007.

i-Immersion™ aims to provide engaging and active classroom experiences to help students internalize the language and cultural content.  In contrast to other learning centers, we have a low student-to-teacher ratio that allows individual attention and flexible curriculum according to the students’ needs.

I-immersion is an active member of the early childhood language learning community including CLTA, NNELL and ACTFL. We believe that all children should be exposed to additional languages to provide them with a strong foundation for cross-cultural communication and learning.
