About
i-Immersion’s iiSchool Program network focuses on delivering an immersion Spanish and Mandarin environment to the school during after school hours. Students in the program attend Mandarin or Spanish foreign language time for a minimum of 3 days per week, at least 2 hours per day. Our teachers create fun learning experiences for young children to begin learning Spanish early. Classes are typically divided by age groups of K, K-Grade 1, Grades 2-3, and Grades 4-5.
We provide the following services to your existing or new after school programs:

Give your child the gift of two or multiple languages! As an early childhood educator and native Mandarin-speaker, the founder of i-Immersion has a passionate commitment to
promote foreign languages and cultural traditions to the students we teach, from infant toddlers to preschool to elementary programs.
i-Immersion’s iiPlay program focuses on developing foreign language abilities in students who speak the majority, dominant language. Our hands-on curriculum teaches
developmental skills children need to become confident, independent, and academically ready for the next level. We maintain small class sizes of no more than eight for infant-toddlers, 14 for preschool and elementary classes, and 16 for middle schoolers. This is to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and is introduced to new concepts when they are ready to learn them.

The i-Immersion Activity Blocks
i-Immersion’s program provides students with a full immersion environment where active language play and instruction is conducted daily. The program offers children a rich and
varied schedule, which balances routine with new events and activities to keep kids engaged in their language learning. Students are guided towards target language fluency
through what we called Activity Blocks, which consists of various age-appropriate activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, movies, field trips, reading, music & dance, and more.
The Teaching Methods
Foreign language classes in the iiSchool program will be conducted using the following key aspects of proven techniques:

- Total Physical Response Storytelling (TPRS)- integrates gestures and creative embellishment of stories to engage students.
